Yes giants are what Im bringing up for today, the most noteable story we know of about any giants is the story of David and Goliath. dont get me wrong I do understand that a high percentage of people in this world only believe that this story is just that…a story. Im not writing this to speak of David and Goliath, Im writing to speak of the many giants that stand in the way of the path that leads us to our true identity. Now what are our giants? and why have they decided to stand in the way of certain victorys that have been freely givin to us and written in our very hearts. These giants that stand in our way are sadly creature of our own creation, particularly the ones we avoid on purpose because they’re connected to a painful time in our lives that we dont want to face or remember. The issue of this matter is that we create these giants only by pure ignorance and possibly hatred, maybe evn a sore memory of abusive relationships, or maybe even our parents gave us the very foundation of which we build our hurt and feed our giants with. Think of it this way, our parents create a big platter based on their short comings, its big, round, and can hold alot of our regrets, fears and hatred, and with all the regrets, fears, and hatred we tend to grow and feed the very giants that stands in the way of our success. These giants stand in the way of marriage, parenthood, family, work, personal growth, and even your physical health. What can we do to remove these giants from blocking what was divinely written in our hearts by God? Well your not going to like it, and your sure not going to want to do it, but it starts off with three powerful words, ‘I Forgive You’. See I told you that it wouldnt be easy, it seems like its the most impossible thing to do in this life is to forgive the person or persons who hurt us, but God is very clear about this, He wants you to have freedom, the fact of this matter is that what we hold in our hearts internally is dangerous because it can become our lives in eternity. Ill explain it this way, what rests in the place of value in our hearts, becomes the eternal value of our lives after death. This means that if it isnt of value to God, then we must release it to Him, not to free them, but to free ourselves of what binds us from what God has planned for us. Let go, have freedom and you will find your rest freely by grace.
